Focus Bezel — Product Specification
01 — Product Overview
Concept
A dive-watch-style rotating bezel repurposed for attention, not oxygen. The wearer rotates the bezel to align a colored sector with the minute hand, marking the start of a focus session. When the minute hand exits the sector, the session is complete.
One-Line Description
"It's just a dive timer, but warmer and for your attention."

Why 25 minutes? Common focus session length. Long enough for deep work, short enough to feel achievable. Not branded as "pomodoro" — just a useful default. Future variants could offer 15, 30, or 45-minute sectors.

04 — User Experience Flow
Starting a Focus Session
- Glance at watch — Note where minute hand currently points
- Rotate bezel — Align the colored sector's start (0 marker) with current minute hand position
- Feel the click — Tactile confirmation that session has begun
- Work — No need to watch the watch; time is held
- Session complete — When minute hand exits the colored sector, the session is done
Key Affordances
- Unidirectional bezel: Can only rotate counterclockwise, preventing accidental extension
- Tactile feedback: Each click = 30 seconds, allowing fine adjustment
- Visual boundary: Clear start/end markers on sector
- No counting: Position-based, not number-based
Why this works: Unlike a timer that counts down, the bezel creates a spatial container for time. You're not watching numbers decrease — you're watching your hand travel through a defined space. When it exits, you're done. No buzzing, no alarms, no interruption.
